Description: Refractions Research supplied data. The data was produced from various sources by Refractions for the Prov Gov in relation to a project, Refractions is no longer under contract with the Province for this data. A note from Jeff Loundbury, Senior Manager, Refractions Research - April 9, 2008: "I spoke to a few other folks here and it sounds like mfar_road_segment would have come from the Digital Roads Atlas which is updated every month. The DRA data program is fully documented here: http://ilmbwww.gov.bc.ca/bmgs/products/mapdata/digital_road_atlas_products.htm The rest of the data came out of data collection that was done for the Emergency Atlas Program, which unfortunately is now defunct. The actual source for all the datasets would be all different part of government etc, the provincial LRDW might have lots of it, but one would have to look at each layer individually. Hopefully that gives you a bit more of an indication of where things came from. Cheers, -Jeff"
